Rondout's Green Club
For one day each spring, the population at Rondout doubles. That day, we open the doors and welcome special guests for Special Seniors Day, an event that recognizes and celebrates the special relationships and interactions between generations, and the desire for multigenerational interaction as part of our children’s education. The goal of the program is to give students a chance to bond with their special guests at school. The event is a collaboration between the PTSA and teachers, school administration, and the community. Proud grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents and family friends have flown in from as far away as Los Angeles. Parents play a critical role in Special Senior’s Day (see below). Because of this, parents are encouraged to find someone other than themselves, but if they want to be special guests, that’s OK. RSVP Early! We want to personalize this event as much as possible! To do that, we need to capture the names of each Special Guest visiting Rondout. Please RSVP using the link: https://www.punchbowl.com/parties/7232fd1b275fed322817 Parents/Volunteers are needed for this event! This is a shout out to all Rondout parents, nannies, and friends who could spare an hour of their day on Friday, April 28th. We need help in all areas/aspects of this event. There is something for everyone to contribute on Special Seniors Day. Volunteer now by using the link: https://signup.com/client/invitation2/secure/570071099135320104/false#/invitation
