Freedom of Information Act Request
In accordance with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140/1 et seq.), the public has the right to access certain public records maintained by Rondout School District 72.
How to Submit a FOIA Request
Requests for information should be made in writing and may be submitted via mail, email, or in person to the district's designated FOIA Officer:

• To help us process your request efficiently, please include the following:
- Your name and contact information
- A clear description of the records you are requesting
- Whether you are requesting copies or to inspect the records
- Whether the request is for commercial purposes (required by law)
Response Time
The District will respond to non-commercial FOIA requests within 5 business days. Requests for commercial purposes will be responded to within 21 business days.
Fees
- First 50 pages of black and white, letter/legal size copies: No charge
- Additional pages: $0.15 per page
- Electronic records or color copies may incur additional costs
