Due to extreme weather conditions and dangerously low windchills, Rondout School District 72 will be closed on Friday, January 23, 2026. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

As a result of the school closure, tonight’s Bedtime Story Night is canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date. We will share updated information once a new date has been confirmed.

Please note that Varsity basketball games will still take place after school today at East Lake Academy as scheduled.
