Special Seniors Day
Mark your calendars for Friday, April 26th!
For one day each spring, the population at Rondout doubles. That day, we open the doors and welcome special guests for Special Seniors Day, an event that recognizes and celebrates the special relationships and interactions between generations, and the desire for multigenerational interaction as part of our children’s education. The goal of the program is to give students a chance to bond with their special guests at school.
The event is a collaboration between the PTSA, teachers, school administration, and the community. Proud grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents, and family friends have flown in from as far away as Los Angeles to attend. Because of this, parents are encouraged to find someone other than themselves to participate, but if they want to be special guests, that’s OK. Click below to RSVP.
